Effortless summer style straight from your closet
The summer heat isn’t done yet. There’s about a month left until labor day and until we can officially dive 100% into fall fashion.
This monochromatic look was a must for the summer. Styling in monochromatic is something that can be played around with in general, as it could be worn with taupe or the eternally classic all-black look.
Style This Trend
Finding a top is easy but what about finding white pants? If attempting this look, one could go for distressed denim shorts or even some loose white linen pants. There is also the option to wear white denim pants, an essential item to have in your closet. Instead of maybe just a white graphic tee or crop top, try a white bodysuit. If you are going out at night, white lace.
For those cooler nights, layer a white blazer with your outfit, or go for a cream jacket. The blazer can turn a very casual outfit to a look that makes you look a little more polished. Also wearing an all white jacket with accents would be a way to embellish the monochromatic look.
My personal favorite to try and style this summer look is the wide leg high waisted trousers, that could be effortlessly paired with a tank.
And we can’t forget about the most important part… the shoes. Okay so depending on what clothing picks you are working with. I would say it’s okay to add some color here, or even pale nude. A nude or rose gold block heel sandal would go well with the pairing of denim pants and a blazer. I would also consider all white trainers like Vans or maybe a pair of Jordans.
