Find Your Go-To Style For Fall Booties
As much as we love summer and wish it would last forever, there is nothing more exciting than the feeling of revamping your wardrobe for fall fashion. Today, I wanted to focus on an everyday item… BOOTIES. They are the ultimate way to dress up an outfit and maybe it’s the one thing you splurge on for your wardrobe revamp, so let’s make it count. Below I have recapped the top five boot trends for this fall and included some of Jane’s Top Finds. If you happen to come across other hot items, please share in the comment section!

Back in high school, I bought my first pair of black canvas combat boots and wore them down to the sole. I’m so glad these are coming back to give off some grunge vibes this fall. I have been eyeing some Dr. Martens 1460 for some time now and I think it’s a classic staple worth investing in. I personally would go for a black pair because of the versatility but don’t be afraid to go for a color pair and they can be paired with just about any outfit. And you can also opt for height with a platform-style.

Animal print is in full swing, honey, and snakeskin is here for the win. Depending on where to, there are options for heel style, one could do a 2” block heel or up the game with a tall stiletto heel. Mixing this print with a bright color makes it all the better. I think mixing different prints within the outfit would be fun. Or you can play it safe with a monochromatic look and have the shoes speak for themselves. Since snakeskin is so hot right now in general, there’s quite a bit out there including the range of prices.

I know what you’re probably thinking… Cowboy boots?? I’m the last person who is trying to channel farmlandia but trust me when I say western will be coming in hot these next few seasons. Also mentioned in the Cruise 2020 report. This could be an alternative to the classic Chelsea boot as your next go-to fall boot. Pairing these can mix up the jeans and sweater combo.

It’s so easy to gravitate towards that black bootie, you don’t really need them but there’s always room to add one more pair to the collection, right? Studded accents add a little glitz and badass edge. I have found some really cool designs out there that are decked out like these Chloe Studded Booties. And there are options as far as style, it could be a Chelsea boot or a chunky Combat boot with the studded embellishments. It’s a staple that will easily transition into the holiday season also.

Okay so living in rainy Portland (I also hear Michigan has been pretty wet as of late), some waterproof boots are a must! Whether it’s for running errands or wearing them to and from work before switching to another pair, they could be a very practical shoe to have. Nothing ruins your day like wearing the wrong shoes and getting your socks wet. Something I know from experience… Most of the options out there are Chelsea boots, but one could also do the traditional tall rain boot or take on a more hiking-style boot.
