Brighten Up Your Day and Maybe Your Closet
I have been daydreaming about being able to go shopping and enjoy a martini with my girlfriends. Everyone is coping with social distancing in different ways. Usually, retail therapy helps lift my spirits but for now, an endless search for the perfect spring wardrobe will have to take place online.
Below are 11 wardrobe essentials and newly released statement pieces Jane Theory is loving. May it spark inspiration to create your own wardrobe wish list or simply just distract you with bliss for a couple minutes.

If you’re looking for a statement piece that says spring, this bag is it.

Flared denim is a must-have item this spring. I came across these Free People flared jeans and was obsessed. They come in a variety of colors with just the right amount of exaggeration, and they’re under $100!

Consider a bright color top to freshen up your closet.

Heeled thong sandals are a staple to have as we head into warmer weather. Since there’s not a whole lot of action going on right now, they will transition well into the summer months if we don’t get out quarantine this spring.

Having a pair of distressed jeans is a wardrobe essential. It’s so easy to pair them with a t-shirt or a button-up to look effortless and chic.

Staying cozy while we’re shacked up right now is priority. A quarter-zip pullover has been on my radar for a while, so what better time for it than unpredictable spring weather. This would also be great in the summer for cool bonfire nights or backpacking trips.

A fresh pair of kicks for those daily walks.

Shoulder and baguette bags are trending right now. Mixing color and prints will add life to your wardrobe.

Oversized sunglasses are the next thing. Go for an oversized cat-eye style as we rediscover what sunshine feels like.

A statement cropped jacket can come in handy to pull an outfit together minutes before jumping on that Zoom call. It’s as simple as throwing it on over a t-shirt and a pair of jeans (or not) to look like you have your life together.

Colorful beaded jewelry is a bit nostalgic and puts a smile on your face. Who doesn’t love a dangle earring, especially one that will brighten up your whole look?

Same thinking! I feel a little guilty even considering buying things outside of the “essentials” during these times. But it never hurts to look π
