Send the year off in some sparkling sequins (even if it’s at home)
It’s so hard to even think about what the holidays are going to look like for many of us this year. Seeing family for Thanksgiving was not encouraged and cases have been on rise since. It’s been nine months of the same story and many have let the walls down to seeing friends and family, but safety first! And if that means staying home, who says you can’t dress up still? Christmas Eve, Christmas, NYE, all of them.
Sequins are always a signature for the holiday season. And this year I am getting all the sparkly inspiration I needed. Chanel released the most beautiful embellished handbags for their Cruise 2021 and it was just what we needed in fashion right now.
I decided to have some fun and curate some looks inspired by the newest Chanel bags. I’m hoping that it sparks outfit inspirations for the upcoming days, whether it is going out (safely!!) or staying at home with the roomies.
When it comes to wearing sequin it can be as flashy as you want, I’m talking head to toe. It can also be a balanced look. For any Real Housewives fans, a look I loved was Gizelle Bryant from RHOP at the season finale winter wonderland party. (She got slammed for her fashion in the latest reunion…Rude). She wore silver sequin pants balanced with a white top, so fitting for the event.
And don’t forget about accessories! If you don’t have any sequin clothing or the budget for a new fit, see what you have in the jewelry box or splurge on some hair accessories to add some holiday sparkle to your look.
